We start off the week with a breakfast idea for surfers: green smoothies. They are a perfect basis for the day as they are quickly made, taste good and are easy to digest. Blended fruit and green leafes serve fiber, protein and lots of vitamins. With ingredients like ginger and lemon a green smoothie becomes a real immun booster!

Here’s our recipe for a green ginger smoothie:



2 hands full of fresh spinach (dark green salad is also possible.The darker the better cause chlorophyl is good for you!)

350 ml water

1 cup of fruits, e.g. pineapple, banana, orange, apple… whatever you have left in your fridge

1 tablespoon fresh ginger

1 dash lemon juice

Put the fruit and water in a mixer and cover it with the spinach. Hit the button until everything is blended thogoughly – enjoy!

This recipe is only a suggestion and you can be creative and add your favorite ingredients. 

In our Surfcamp on Fuerteventura we welcomed lots of new future surfers who are spending their holiday in the waves of El Cotillo. Julian and Nicole can’t get enough and are participating in two lessons today: beginners and intermediate. Everyone is happy to spend time outside after a few rainy days.
