Unser Kooperationspartner Peak Surf
Hi, I’m Julian, the founder of PEAK Surf.
At PEAK we believe that the foundations of surfing lie in our four key areas. Together, these four pillars create a holistic approach to surfing that inspires your growth, creativity and a lifelong passion for the sport.

Performance

Surf lessons and trainings
Beginner level
At PEAK, surf lessons for beginners are designed to introduce you to the exciting world of surfing in a fun and supportive environment.
With experienced instructors by your side, you’ll learn the basics of paddling technique, balance and surfing in a safe environment.

PEAK focuses on building your confidence in the water and ensuring you learn the essential skills you need to catch your first wave.
With the motto “If I can learn it, so can you”, PEAK encourages you to take the learning process at your own pace, regardless of age or experience.
Intermediate level
As you progress to the advanced level with PEAK, the surf lessons will refine your existing skills and introduce you to more challenging techniques. The instructors have a keen eye for detail that will help you analyze and reflect on your performance and identify areas for improvement.

The intermediate course ranges from targeted wave riding in both directions to an introduction to various maneuvers, including cutbacks and carves, while deepening your understanding of wave dynamics.
Advanced Surfing
For advanced surfers, PEAK offers specialized courses that focus on the details of high-performance surfing. Here the focus is on refining techniques, analyzing your skills and providing personalized feedback to help you reach your full potential in the water.
PEAK will challenge you with complex maneuvers and strategies to master bigger waves, take you out of your comfort zone and ignite your creativity in the water and on the wave.

With our extensive experience, we make sure you get the support you need to push your limits and encourage you to express your individuality in the water.
All with your safety as our top priority.
Surfskate
Integrating surfskate training sessions into your surf program at PEAK offers a variety of benefits that will accelerate your development as a surfer.
One of the most significant benefits is the immediate feedback you receive as you learn to control the board or even execute advanced maneuvers; this real-time practice allows you to hone your skills without the unpredictability of waves or having to deal with poor conditions and crowded line-ups.
Surfskate training has the advantage of allowing you to focus specifically on exercises that improve your balance, coordination and body mechanics, making it easier to understand the crucial connection between your upper and lower body.
This combination of water and land training not only improves your overall surfing performance, but also saves you weeks or even months of traditional training in the water, allowing you to progress faster and with more confidence as you master the waves.
Discover your personal way of expressing yourself in the water – with PEAK Surf, every surf session becomes a special experience.

Frequently asked Questions
Prerequisites
Is there a minimum and maximum age for learning to surf?
Minimum age: 7 years. For younger children, Julian offers tailor-made options as part of the family surf course – just talk to him and you’ll find the right solution.
No maximum age. As long as you feel fit and are motivated to learn to surf, you are welcome to join us.
Surfing knows no age – you can start at any time. A basic level of fitness is important, as surfing challenges and strengthens the cardiovascular system. However, the technique and movement sequences can be learned at any age.
The surf courses are designed to meet the individual needs of each participant – whether in terms of age, fitness or learning speed. Your personal progress is the focus at PEAK-Surf.
Do I have to be physically fit to surf?
Swimming is the only sporting requirement you need to have.
Especially at the beginning, surfing is mainly a question of technique – with the different take-off variations, we will get you safely on the board. It doesn’t matter whether you do sport regularly or not, because our lessons are adapted to your level.
A good basic level of fitness and good body awareness can speed up your progress, but are not a prerequisite for learning to surf successfully.
I have a pre-existing medical condition. Can I still take part?
Your safety in the water is Julian’s top priority. That’s why we ask you to inform him in advance of any pre-existing medical conditions. This way, he can adapt the course to your individual needs and ensure a safe and unforgettable surfing experience.
Procedure
When do lessons start at PEAK-Surf?
There is no fixed start time, but you decide each day based on the conditions (tide, wave size, wind) when and where you go surfing.
Julian will let you know the time the day before.
How long does a surf lesson last?
One class lasts around 3 to 4 hours, including transfer to the surf spot, warm-up exercises, theoretical introduction and practical time in the water.
If you need a break in between, you are always free to retreat to the beach or the vehicle and enjoy the breathtaking view of the ocean.
In which language does the surf course take place?
Julian speaks German, English and Spanish.
What do I have to bring?
For your surf course, we recommend that you bring a towel or poncho, swimwear to wear underneath and sun protection.
If you don’t have your own surf equipment, Julian will of course provide you with it.
How warm is the water?
On Fuerteventura, the water temperature is between a pleasant 18 °C in winter and 22 °C in summer – so it never gets really cold here.
We provide you with a 3 mm wetsuit for your surf course, which will keep you reliably warm and protect you from the wind at the same time.
However, if you are particularly sensitive to the cold, we recommend that you either bring your own thicker wetsuit or wear additional lycra under your wetsuit. Talk to us – we will advise you individually and find the right solution so that you feel completely comfortable!
