As an alternative to our Surfhouse we offer our fabulous shared apartment: Located in beautiful El Cotillo as well, and only one street away from the ocean, it offers you a place of peace, rest and relaxation. Party and noisy life you will not find in this shared apartment. Instead, our apartment offers you a place to develop individually, for relaxed moments but also the possibility to get together with other guests. We offer you an accommodation where you will find everything for your needs as a (future) surfer.
The shared accommodation consists of 2 apartments on top of each other with a total of four cozy rooms, two fully equipped kitchens, two bathrooms and a large terrace with swimming pool.

Just around the corner, at the edge of El Cotillo, our small fishing village, you will find the beautiful lagoon beaches with their white, Caribbean-like sand. The cliffs with their surf beaches and a bizarre volcanic landscape can be found on the other side of El Cotillo.
Breathtaking sunsets, a lunar landscape, enclosed by volcanoes characterize and create a very unique island charm. Here you can let your gaze wander and find inner peace. You can enjoy the silence and recover from everyday stress. Fuerteventura offers you unforgettable nature experiences. Even though the landscape may seem a bit desolate and dry at the beginning, it offers many hidden details at second glance. The equipment of the shared apartment Fuerteventura “second floor”
Our shared apartment offers you a beautiful ambience in Bali-style and invites you to relax. The apartment has a room with a kingsize bed and a room with two single beds. The open kitchen is fully equipped and the living room invites you to relax. In addition, the apartment has a terrace with a view over the expanse of Fuerteventura, to El Roque and a balcony overlooking the swimming pool area.
The equipment of the shared apartment Fuerteventura “first floor”
This apartment has a bedroom with two single beds overlooking the pool area and is equipped with a small corner couch. Next to it is the fully equipped kitchen. A small hallway leads to the bathroom and the second bedroom. This is equipped with a walk-in closet, a double bed and a desk. The bedroom has two skylights and is pleasantly cool even in summer.
HERE YOU FIND WHERE OUR SHARED APARTMENT IS LOCATED
Our shared apartment is located in a residential complex one street away from the ocean and a shell’s throw away from the beautiful lagoon beaches of El Cotillo: Here you can swim, snorkel or sunbathe. Right around the corner you will find the French bakery “El Goloso”.
The surf school is about 10 minutes walk through El Cotillo. If you feel like a little detour, you can also stroll along the water and through the beautiful old harbor of Cotillo.

In El Cotillo, for your physical well-being is definitely taken care of. On the following page we put together all the information you need about breakfast in El Cotillo. Here you will find delicious tips for a healthy, rich or hearty breakfast. There is something for every tastes. Of course you can also use the kitchen to prepare your own meals.
Snacks & Dinner with Friends
During the day you can prepare a hot drink at the tea and coffee station which is at your disposal. In the evening, we offer you the possibility to have dinner together with our other guests in a restaurant. Otherwise, you are free to explore the restaurants of El Cotillo on your own.
Important information about catering and the use of the kitchen
Our kitchen is available for you at all times for the preparation of hot and cold meals. You are welcome to cook here alone or with others. However, we ask that you always leave the kitchen in the condition in which you would like to find it. You live in a “small” flat-share and unfortunately we cannot offer you a complete all-round service with cleaning up your dishes.

Learn to surf & improve in our surf school
Fuerteventura is rightly considered the Hawaii of Europe: year-round excellent waves and fantastic weather make our island one of the best surfing areas in Europe. Surfers of all levels will find their own personal El Dorado here – whether beach break or reef break, goofy or regular, beginner or intermediate surfer. Your surf class takes place from Monday to Saturday, depending on your surf level and the conditions. A course lasts approx. 3.5 hours and is filled with theory and practice. Put yourself in professional hands and learn to surf with fun and safety.
In small groups of 4 to max. 5 students, you will learn this great water sport from our licensed surf instructors, who will deal with you individually. If you are more advanced and would like to practice specific aspects of your surfing, we recommend our private surf coaching sessions.
Our coaches are the best – we are convinced. They are all licensed and have not only gained a lot of experience in waves all over the world, also they bring a lot of fun, motivation and passion to help you to your first successes on the board or to push you further! Every day they will guide you to the best waves – always in accordance with your surfing level, your experience and your demands.
Our Surf courses
We differentiate between four levels in our surf courses, so that you are taught according to your skills. All information about our surf courses for beginners, intermediates and advanced surfers can be found here.
PRIVATE SURF COACHINGS
As mentioned above, we offer private coaching for all advanced surfers. Before the coaching, you set your goals together with the surf coach, which you will work on during the surf course. This way you can improve exactly the things that are important to you.
To help you relive your best waves and moments at home, we take daily photos of our surf lessons and share them with you for free online on our blog.

In addition to the multitude of exceptionally good spots for surfing, the surrounding area offers everything to make holiday dreams come true: diving, snorkelling, horse riding, yoga, windsurfing, kiting, hiking, etc. – for active guests there are almost endless possibilities for leisure activities.
Excursions on Fuerteventura
For those who prefer to explore the island, Fuerteventura offers numerous opportunities for hiking and mountain biking through the volcanic landscape – you can get tips and information we can help you out at the surf school. If you prefer something less sporty, you can go shopping in Corralejo or take leisurely walks towards the North Shore and let your holiday soul dangle. Fuerteventura offers a lot for explorers. WHAT DAYS ARE ARRIVALS POSSIBLE?
You can arrive every day. Check-in at the Shared Apartment starts at 5 pm. Please let us know your arrival time and flight number.
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND A CAR RENTAL?
To discover the island, a rental car is definitely the most pleasant option. You can also check out a lot of surf spots on your own and go surfing after or before your courses. Fuerteventura has some natural gems which are easiest to reach with a rental car.
HOW FAR IS THE SHARED APARTMENT FROM THE SURF SCHOOL AND THE SURFHOUSE?
Our shared apartment is located about 10 minutes walk from the surf school. The path leads you through the beautiful little streets of El Cotillo – if you want to take a longer walk, you can also walk along the water and past the old harbour. It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the Surfhouse.
ACCOMMODATION SERVICES
Additional nights are of course possible.
- One overnight stay in a double room costs 50 € per person.
- The single room costs 65 € per night.
TOWELS, BED LINEN AND CLEANING LADY
Towels and bed linen are included at the Shared Apartment. In addition, our cleaning lady comes every second day to clean all public rooms. The rooms are only cleaned when you change rooms. Otherwise, we ask you to take care of order and cleanliness yourself – just as you would in a shared flat.
WHEN DOES MY SURF COURSE START?
You can start your surf course every day (except Sundays). Normally we plan the surf course start the day after your arrival. If you would like to start later, please let us know.
SURF COURSE LEVEL
When booking your surf camp holiday, we will ask you for your surfing level, because we divide our courses into different skill levels. You can find out in advance which levels we categorise and which skills you should bring with you for which courses on our surf course page.
