On September 28th, 2011, the “Red Tide” hit San Diego shores. The neon-blue waves are not digitally created but are a phenomenon of the nature. Smallest creatures, which are living in the sea, send light signals. You can’t find this spectacle on many surfspots in the world, you definatly have to be on the right place by the right time. This video was shot at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, California and at North Ponto Beach in Carlsbad, California.
It must be beautiful to surf a shining wave, like in a phantasie movie.
