The big wave surfer Ramon Navarro from Chile, went on to his biggest adventure: he is the first man who surfed the waves of the Antarctic. At the southernmost surfspot of the world, the 34 years old surfed the waves of the chilenean territorium of the antartic and wrote surf history on the white continent. For his surf mission, he let produce a costum-made drysuit, which keep him warm through his movement. The temperature of the water was about -15 degrees.
For our Freshsurf team, this would never be an option. We love to surf in the warm water of the Atlantic and our surf students don’t have to freeze in the water. We always have warm temperatures in our surfcamp at Fuerteventura
