Fuerteventura is not only famous among surfers, it is also a popular destination for windsurfing and kitesurfing. For the last 29 years the world’s best board sportsmen have battled annually for the World Championship off the coast of the wind consistent and sun-kissed Canary Island. From 18.07.-02.08.2014 the world’s windsurfer and kiteboarder elite will compete in the World Championship heats in altogether four disciplines.
