El Cotillo is in the move. Last week a new café called „El Mentidero“ opened, which means talking shop. And in fact this is true! You really feel like sitting there with friends just to chat and to drink a coffee. It has a beautiful maritime flair with many details, perfectly designed by the two owners Giovanna and Andrés. You feel like if you are on a ship because of the shiny white colour all over the floor and the walls. Giovanna originally comes from italy and makes very delicious sandwiches, smoothies, cakes and many more things. Very recommendable is the surfer’s breakfast which comes with a huge bocadillo, a fresh orange juice and a café. Her husband André is from El Cotillo and is responsible for the most brilliant coffee you can drink in this town. Their logo is an anchor which catches your eye if you enter the „Calle Punta Aguada“.
