Fuerteventura is a authentic paradise of different colors. If you choose the right accommodation on Fuerteventura, you will either stay right at one of the picturesque beaches or you have the possibility to visit other beaches close-by. Trips to the south of the island to discover romantic and atmospheric beaches like Barlovento, Costa Calma or Sotavento should be on top of your Fuerteventura-to-do-list.

What can you see and do on Fuerteventura?
Use your stay in one of the accommodations on Fuerteventura not only to learn to surf but also to discover great places, like Lobos Island. To get to this beautiful natural paradise you only have to take a ferry from the harbor of Corralejo. After a short boat ride of just a few minutes you’ll arrive at this small island. There you can not only swim and snorkel in a peaceful environment, but also observe the local fauna from beautiful hiking paths.
The Natural Park Jandía in the south of Fuerteventura is another spot you shouldn’t miss. There is no better place for hiking! Here you can enjoy about 2.500 hectares of breath-taking landscapes.
The nickname of the Gorge „Barranco de Las Peñitas“ says it all: „the great unknown of the island”. It is one of the hidden treasures, which is left for you to discover. Getting there is already quite the adventure.

Are there cooking facilities in the accommodations on Fuerteventura?
In all our accommodation you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook something up anytime!
Are there shared bathrooms or does every guest has his/her own bathroom?
In all our apartments there is at least one bathroom with shower and WC, which you don’t have to share with anyone else.
In our Surfhouse four rooms share three bathrooms, in our Surfvilla Nalani three bedrooms share two bathrooms, in our Surfvilla Kiana every room has its own bathroom and in our Surfvilla Koa in El Roque five rooms share three bathrooms.
Do I have to bring bed linen, a sleeping bag or towels?
In all our accommodations towels and bed linen are included. But please bring a large beach towel yourself!
Important information about the water supply during the summer!
On the Canary Islands there can be, especially during summer, a water shortage. Therefore, it is important to use the water sparingly. We try our outmost to make your stay as comfortable as possible but unfortunately, our hands are tied regarding running water, as this is a problem of the water supply of the whole island in general. Of course, we will always provide water canister, to provide a basic water supply. If you want, you can bring for example dry shampoo just in case that there is a water shortage.
Do all your accommodations have Wi-Fi or internet connection?
The final cleaning of the accommodation is included in the price of the surfvillas and the Surfhouse. For the apartments there is a final cleaning fee of 50€.

Is there a supermarket close to the accommodations?
In El Cotillo are four supermarkets:
Supermercado (open everyday from 9h to 21h), Superdino (open every day from 8h30 to 21h), Hiperdino Express (open every day from 9h to 21h) and the Spar Supermarket (open mon-sat 8h30 to 21h; sun 9h to 15h). Furthermore there is a small grocery store Viveres Argelia.

Are there restaurants close to the accommodations in El Cotillo?
Close to all accommodations (maximum 5 minutes walking) are many different restaurants. You can find out more in our restaurant guide.
What are the costs of living/food on Fuerteventura?
Since cheap supermarkets are close to the accommodations – life doesn’t cost much more then in Germany or Europe. Certain things like fresh bread from the bakery are much cheaper. There also are a few restaurants that offer cheap but tasty meals.
Can I rent bikes, long boards, skateboards, carver boards etc.?
Yes, at the surf school Riders Surf N Bike you can rent sport material for the beach as well as long boards or skateboards. You can also rent bikes there.
