We are looking forward to welcome you soon in our surf school here in El Cotillo. Our vision is to share our joy and passion with you. Our surf school is lead by a team of affectionate surfers. We hope you will make unforgettable memories and experiences in and around surfing with us and have an active relaxation. We focus on safety and that’s why surf theory is also an important part of our surf lessons. Within one week we want to enable you to experience your first steps on the water with a board under your feet. It doesn’t matter how old you are or how much experience you already have. With safety and a lot of fun we will take you to the best-possible wave.
Of course you can combine your surf lessons with staying in one of our accomodations!

In our surf school we focus on a familial atmosphere: solo traveler, families or groups of friends who learn to surf together and have a great time in and out of the water. Fun for everyone that is what surfing means – because age doesn’t matter. Surfing in the north of Fuerteventura signifies to enjoy pure water sports. Experience the surf of your life with top conditions, because we will look every day for the best surf spot for you!The familial surf school is located in the middle of El Cotillo from where we can get to all the good surf spots in no time. No matter which surf level, everyone will find a suitable surf class.
Our surf lessons take part in small groups. There are not more than 6 persons per surf coach. That guarantees you fast progress. All our surf coaches are certified by the international surfing association (ISA) and by the federación Canarias de Surf (FCS).

After a great warm-up you will learn the theoretical basics. We show you everything, starting with how to carry your board the right way to the take-off on the board.
What are the requirements?
The only requirement for this lesson is that you are able to swim and are highly motivated. You will learn everything else with us.

Is the intermediate surf lesson at the beach the right one for me? What will I learn?
For whom is the beginner intermediate lesson at the beach suitable?
This lesson is for you, when you are still a little bit unsure about your take-off. If you want to keep practicing your technique to get up in the white water at the beach you should choose this lesson.
What do you learn in the beginner intermediate lesson at the beach?
We will explain the right paddle technique to you, show you how to cross waves to paddle into the line-up. You will also learn how to ride waves in the white water frontside and backside. We will show you, how to trim the board to surf a wave as long as possible.
What are the requirements for the beginner intermediate lessons at the beach?
The requirements for these lessons are simply a little previous experience in surfing and that you want to imprive yourself.

Is the intermediate surf lesson at the reef the right one for me? What will I learn?
For whom is the intermediate lesson at the reef suitable?
For our intermediate lessons you should be able to catch and surf white-water-waves by yourself. In this lesson we will focus on bringing you into the line-up and surfing green waves to the right and to the left.
What do you learn in our intermediate lessons at the reef?
We show you how to catch green waves and ride the face of the wave backside and frontside. You will get to know the unwritten rules of surfing (surf etiquette) and how to orientate yourself at a new surf spot.
Which requirements are necessary to participate in the intermediate surf lessons at the reef?
If you are able to get up in about 90% of the white-water waves, the intermediate lessons at the beach are right for you.

How long takes a surf lesson?
The duration of our surf lessons is 3 to 4 hours. It depends a little bit on how much energy you have and how long we will search for the right surf spot.
Will you drive me to the surf spot?
Yes, we drive you with our surf school vans to the best suitable surf spot. The spot depends on the weather, the waves and the wind conditions.
How big are the groups of your surf lessons on Fuerteventura?
We teach in small groups. 4 (to max 6) surfers are taught by one surf coach.
Which material is included?
All the material is included in our surf lessons on Fuerteventura. We provide you with surfboard, wetsuit, lycra, leash and surf wax. Please remember to bring a towel, sun lotion, dry clothes and something to drink.
Am I insured during the surf lessons on Fuerteventura?
